With Lady Gaga fans eagerly awaiting the release of Born This Way's first single, which is expected to be the album's title track, details about the rest of the recording are slowly emerging. Late Tuesday, Lady Gaga tweeted to thank her fans for making "Edge of Glory" a Twitter-trending topic. "Edge of Glory" is expected to be one of the track titles on the album.

"Ok. Firstly, yes I love Nutella (with Banana+Wonderbread) who doesn't?" Mother Monster wrote. "Secondly, I can't believe Edge of Glory was trending, sneakymonsters! Thirdly, I need a beer with my name on it cause the last 72hrs gave me a creative hangover."

Gaga apparently has been making references to the song as far back as September, when she tweeted, "I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm counting on a moment of truth. I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm counting on a moment with you."

Meanwhile, her best friends, New York band Semi Precious Weapons, also have been hinting at what fans might expect from Born This Way, which is set for release in May. "Just as she described it. It's amazing, epic," Weapons frontman Justin Tranter explained in a recent Q&A. "The most incredible album I've ever heard."

In addition, Gaga producer RedOne recently put in his two cents about the singer's new material, saying that her forthcoming single was "so beautiful.

Last week, a track off the album that Gaga remixed accompanied a short film by fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco that was shown at a Mugler fashion show in Paris. Discussing the tune, Vivanco said Mugler creative director and Gaga stylist Nicola Formichetti had found "a really articulate way" to describe it — " 'It's techno meets Whitney Houston, in a really good way.' "

She explained, "It never gets old hearing my songs on the radio, or shooting videos, or winning awards -- it's all very exciting -- and being on tour, which I spend the majority of my time on tour, which is a lot of fun. But all that other stuff is incredible."

'W' Magazine Defends Naked Kim Kardashian Photos

'W' Magazine Defends Naked Kim Kardashian Photos

Kim Kardashian has posed for her share of tastefully nude photos, but her November 2010 shoot for W magazine -- in which she was photographed wearing nothing but silver body paint -- was definitely the most revealing. Unfortunately, it seems that the reality star had no idea she was going to be quite so exposed. Her shocked reaction was aired on a recent episode of her E! reality TV series Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

"Oh my God, I'm more naked than Playboy!" Kim exclaimed when she saw the W photo spread. (Kardashian posed for Playboy in 2007, and was indeed more covered up than she was in W.)

On the show, Kim was seen crying, saying that the editor "promised I would be covered with artwork on top of me" and calling the pictures "serious porn."

"I feel so f***ing taken advantage of right now," said Kim. Watch the clip below.

Did the magazine really take advantage of Kardashian? A spokesperson from W responded to her criticism on Tuesday, explaining that the celebutante should be proud of the nude photos -- because they're art.

"In keeping in line with the theme of W Magazine’s November Art Issue, Kim Kardashian’s cover was conceived as an artistic collaboration with well-known artist Barbara Kruger, and was a meditation on the influence that reality TV has on contemporary culture," writes the magazine's rep. "The inside portfolio documented the career and power of Kim Kardashian as a work of art, using the language of artists like Jeff Koons (see Rabbit) and Gilbert & George (see The Singing Sculpture)."

For those of you who have no idea what the heck the rep is talking about, The Singing Sculpture is a work of performance art in which the artists wear suits and metallic paint, and Rabbit is a sculpture of a big metal rabbit. Neither piece of art involves anyone showing their nipples. So if W is trying to argue that they printed the naked photos for art's sake, rather than to sell magazines -- well, they're not being very convincing.

They also didn't address Kim Kardashian's actual complaint, which was that she only modeled nude with the understanding that her privates would be covered up. If this is true, the magazine breached her trust in a major way -- and that's totally unacceptable, even in the name of art.

Kardashian decided ultimately to let it go, saying that the photos looked amazing and she's "glad she did them." She also said she'd hesitate before posing nude again, which seems totally understandable. Here's our advice, Kim: Next time you take off your clothes for a photographer, don't just take their word that you'll be covered up. Get it in writing!
