Gerard Butler: Sunshine State Stud
Making it through the long cross-country flight, Gerard Butler was spotted arriving at Miami International Airport on Friday evening (December 3).
Looking studly in a brown leather jacket, grey v-neck t-shirt and jeans, the Scottish actor eased his way through the terminal after flying in from LAX Airport in Los Angeles.
Visiting the sunshine state during the Art Basel happenings, Mr Butler is currently in negotiations to star in a new adaptation of "Afterburn".
If terms are agreed upon, Gerard will take on the main role of a character named Jake, who according to Entertainment Weekly "leads a team of recovery experts as they venture into the danger zone to secure treasures such as the Mona Lisa, and the Crown Jewels"

M.I.A. To Drop Vicky Leekx Mixtape On New Year's Eve
'Layin' bad minds to rest 2010!' songstress tweets of upcoming project.

With 2010 coming to a close, M.I.A. has already announced her plans for the new year: Flood the Web with some new music. On Friday (December 3), the electro-dance superstar tweeted that she's going to drop a mixtape on December 31.
"Vicky leekx mixtape coming new years eve!" she wrote. The indie-music luminary didn't elaborate on the sound of the project but added that she plans to churn out a suite of tracks that will make an impact. "Layin bad minds to rest 2010!"
The "Born Free" artist has been trekking across Europe on tour and is slated to be on the road until December 12, according to her MySpace page. But it appears she was able to squeeze in some studio time while ripping stages overseas. And although her politically charged lyricism and genre-smashing beats have captivated her fans, the story behind the production of her music often rivals the British star's singular vibe.
M.I.A.'s 2007 pastiche of reggae-inflected, worldly electro, Kala, reflected the global sensibility of recording pretty much everywhere on Earth other than her homebase at the time, Brooklyn, while stuck in immigration limbo. For 2010's /\/\/\Y/\ she pretty much stayed put, but still banged out the album in dramatic fashion: hunkering down in a custom-built studio beneath her home.
"I built a room under the house that was kind of like a cave; you had to go down into it," she told MTV News in July. "And then I just sort of made it as creative as possible for me — I was just sort of making the furniture and making the pictures, covered all the walls with stuff that I made, so it feels like every step of the way, I was working on the layers of this sort of environment."

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal: A Timeline Of Their Romance
Five weeks and many lattes later, we look back on the budding romance between the country superstar and the A-list heartthrob.

Five weeks and many coffee-runs later, Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal appear to be the real deal. The couple have been spotted across the country, grabbing lattes and canoodling. And the latest issue of US Weekly proclaims the pair are "in love." So MTV News decided to look back on how the budding romance got started.
It all kicked off in late October when Swift and Gyllenhaal stopped by "Saturday Night Live" in support of that night's host, Swift's bestie, Emma Stone. Swift and Gyllenhaal followed the hangout session with a lunch date in Brooklyn, where they were also joined by Stone.
Shortly after that first sighting, Swift sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and danced around the rumors, saying only, "I'm always optimistic about love."
Then in early November, Jake and Taylor were spotted in Big Sur, California, lounging by a pool and getting sundaes at McConnell's ice cream shop. One source said, "Taylor laughed at everything Jake said," and added that the pair seemed "happy" and "friendly."
What initially appeared to be a casual fling seemed to heat up as rumors hit the Net in mid-November that Gyllenhaal had rented a private jet to fly Swift out to the U.K. to hang out while he promoted "Love and Other Drugs." That date, however, was far more costly than a few scoops of ice cream as it reportedly cost the Hollywood heartthrob more than $150,000. Still, Gyllenhaal's "Other Drugs" co-star Anne Hathaway brushed off the romance rumors.
For Thanksgiving, Taylor and Jake returned to Brooklyn, where they spent the weekend visiting Jake's sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and husband Peter Sarsgaard. Maggie later said spending the holiday with the pop star was "great." The new couple then headed to Nashville, where they were repeatedly spotted, yes, getting coffee and strolling arm in arm.
While Swift continues to remain mum on the subject, she recently gave a review of Gyllenhaal's latest flick, describing "Love and Other Drugs" as "a good movie."
When pressed for more details about Jake, she said, "I write in great detail about my personal life, but I don't talk about it."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt: Au Revoir, Paris
Looking as if they're finished up with their time in the City of Lights, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their children were spotted leaving the Bristol Hotel in Paris, France on Friday night (December 3).
With the "Wanted" actress giving her daughter Shiloh a smooch while loading her into their ride, the Hollywood power couple loaded into awaiting vans en route to Le Bourget airport.
Having been in town for promotional duties, Brad and Angelina were able to sneak in a romantic dinner date on Thursday night prior to their departure.
Opting to dine at Restaurant Gus Savoy, the legendary three-Michelin star chef told People magazine, "They came, they said, because Clint Eastwood recommended the restaurant to her. He told her they'd enjoy themselves."
Savoy added, "Brad was very interested in the style of cuisine and very knowledgeable. And I have to say that I took one look at her and I complimented him on his good taste. She is most beautiful in person."
